EMS FITNESS MODE (RED INDICATOR):

EMS (electrical muscle stimulation, or faradic) was something that you could only find in clinics and salons, a mode of muscle firming that allows the targeting of specific muscles. Beauticians have also been using this technique in salons for many years.
By sending (tiny) electric pulses through your skin’s surface, it stimulates nerve endings and causes muscles to contract and relax at recurring intervals – it is like a skin fitness workout to promote skin fitness, firming, toning & contouring.

MASSAGE RELAXATION MODE (BLUE INDICATOR):

This device also includes a Relaxation mode that gently kneads the skin to relieve tension. Movements such as gentle deep stroking, pinching, and kneading promotes oxygen and blood flow in your skin. This increases collagen production, which prevents the formation of wrinkles, relieves tension, reduces puffiness effectively also restores skin's elasticity.

 How does EMS work?
Electronic Muscle Stimulation technology stimulates facial muscles through gentle contractions creating a mini workout for the face; to improve tone and firmness and support skin rejuvenation for a healthy glow.

Troubleshooting: Why can I not feel the pulses?
There are 2 main reasons you may not be able to feel the pulses:

The Skin Roller™  may not be switched onto EMS Fitness mode. Ensure the indicators are highlighted in red.
There isn’t enough moisture on your skin. Apply a moisture-rich lotion, serum, or sheet mask to the skin prior to use.
Can I use the Skin Roller™ with a face mask?
Yes – it is recommended that you use a mask with high moisture content, such as a sheet mask. Clay masks that dry into the skin will not have the same effect.

I feel strange shocks on my skin, is this normal?
Yes – this means the Skin Roller™ is on EMS Fitness mode. The electric-like tingling sensation stimulates the muscles in the skin.

How do I turn on/off the Skin Roller™?
Hold down the power button for 2 seconds.

How do I charge the Skin Roller™?
Located at the base of the unit, insert the cable into the charging port. Connect the USB to the appropriate power supply and charge for approx. 2 hours.

Is the Skin Roller™ waterproof?
No, Skin Roller™ is NOT waterproof. Please do not put it under running water. The device is suitable to use in conjunction with moisture-rich lotion, serum, and sheet masks.

How do I clean my Skin Roller™ if I can’t use water?
You can clean the device by wiping it with a clean, dry cloth and leave in a well-ventilated area to dry completely.

How often do I use the Skin Roller™?
EMS technology works like a fitness workout. Adopt a 5:2 fitness regimen. 5 x Massage Days and 2 x Rest Days.

How to choose the right product to use with the Skin Roller™?

When using the Skin Roller™ without the EMS function, you can use any product alongside it. Whether that be oil-based or water-based. It could be a moisturizer, serum, mask, cream, or any other product. Skin Roller™ will assist in the circulation and absorption of the product into your skin.
When using the Skin Roller™ with the Electronic Muscle Stimulation (EMS) function, it is best practice to use a water-based product. Water-based or Aqua-based products are better conductors, and so will interact with the Skin Roller™and provide great electronic muscle stimulation.
To find out whether your product is water-based, you will need to look at the ingredient listing. This is located on either the back of the product or the packaging/carton.

Be sure that Water/Aqua is the first ingredient listed. This is the key indicator that your product is in fact, water-based.
